The Defiled Announce UK Tour

The Defiled announce 13 shows in 13 days ending on Friday 13th!

HOT off their UK run with the MURDERDOLLS and BLACK VEIL BRIDES, London metallers THE DEFILED have announced their first UK headlining tour. The “13 – Lucky For Some Tour” kicks off on 1st May 2011, taking in 13 shows, ending on Friday 13th May in Guilford.

“We are so exited about this tour because we get to pick one of our favourite bands and brothers in arms to come out with us, the brutally crushing “Romeo Must Die”!” says keyboard player The AvD. “We are going to be setting off on Sunday the first of May and ending it on Friday the 13th. So come out and join us for 13 unlucky days of debauchery and sin. We are looking forward to playing a full set for all the people that come see us on our support slots only to be teased by a half hour set every time, and to all our new friends…Come on out, if you’re feeling lucky….”

Support comes from self styled Murder-Pop Thrashers ROMEO MUST DIE, who’s debut album “Hardships In Season” is given away free with the current issue of METAL HAMMER magazine. Says bassist Ben Frost:

“We have played with The Defiled many times over the last few years and the shows with them have always been amazing. So when we were asked to do the UK tour we thought what better way to promote the release of both of our new records. The first two weeks in May will see the pair of us serving up a bill of diverse home-grown metal and I for one can’t wait to blow off two years of steam with our new material. I think that this is going to be something pretty special and people should be making sure that they don’t miss out!”
